Abstract
The experiment in the investigation of two kinds of maize's storage protein subunits with sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrlamide gel electrophoresis(SDS-PAGE) was conducted. The results showed that the resolving effect of maize's storage protein subunits could be greatly affected by the concentrations change of resolving gel.And the good resolving effect of almond storage protein subunits could be obtained when the resolving gel concentration was 12%.Furthermore,the results showed that the two kinds of maizes contained 14 subunits and the molecular weight of maize's storage protein subunits were about 1.0×104~8.0×104 Da.The percent of 13th subunit is very different in Qiangsheng 49 and Aoyu 3101.
