Abstract

The pattern of subject-object prevails the studies of value issues and it classifies the priority of the issue of man in value issues as a factual relationship of the object world because it takes man as an existing being like the object and treats man and the object together as an entity. This naturalist perspective of value issues is not proper and therefore its interpretation and resolution of the value issues are naturally outside the threshold of value philosophy. Only when value is construed as spiritual phenomenon as it is and the value philosophy is taken as spiritual phenomenology can the door to a value philosophy that is truly in keeping with Marxist critical spirit be located. Value philosophy is not a branch of Marxist philosophical ideas either. Rather, it is a premise of understanding the whole ideas of Marxism. Therefore, value phenomenology can only be explained from the ontological perspective.
