Abstract

Artistic language is a form of language which carries special meanings. It can express the special emotions in an imagist way as long as the grammatical devices cant fulfil the goal. In doing this, it turns the common linguistic signs into symbolic signs with artistic taste. Image'is the instrument of artistic language; the carrier of emotive meanings of the subjects; and the bridge of linking the natural world and inner world of human beings.
