Abstract

High speed A/D and DSP are used to design the circuit of on-line thickness gauging system to locate the image point on CCD. As the sampling speed of A/D is slower than the working clock frequency of DSP, FIFO is used as I/O between A/D and DSP. It makes the circuit simple and easy controlling, increases the efficiency of DSP.
