An improved oxidation ditch process for the treatment of bleaching/washing effluent in an alkaline straw pulping plant

The paper introduces the design and start-up commission- ing of an improved oxidation ditch system with the FAS-Jet aeration system for the treatment of bleaching/washing effluent in an alkaline straw pulping plant.The operation results show that the process and its parameter selection were rational,the operation was stable and the quality of outlet water reached the national standard of water pol- lutant discharge for pulp and paper industry.
