Three Dimensions of the Development of Modern Ethics

Ethics is the science of morality.It reflects on,argues and answers three major issues: the validity of reasoning morally,the standard of the judgment the moral and the immoral,and the application and realization of morality.To quest these issues leads to the differentiating criteria among meta-ethics,normative ethics and applied ethics in ethics and the three dimensions for examining the morphological development of ethics.It is in this sense that three dimensions have been applied to the judgment of the development of modern ethics.The three dimensions are between thickness and thinness concerning authority ethics,situation ethics and procedure ethics,outside groups and individuals concerning obligation ethics,right ethics and responsibility ethic,and from the nearness to farness concerning group ethics,global ethics and ecological ethics.
