Abstract
Granule activated carbon prepared from bamboo by phosphoric acid activation was used as raw materials. The adsorption process of Cr( VI) by bamboo activated carbon was analyzed, and the parameters such as adsorption time, temperature, concentration and p H value were dissucssed. The results showed that adsorption capacity of Cr( VI) increased continuously with the increase of adsorption time and temperature, and the increase of initial concentration benefited the improvement of adsorption amount and rate. They showed a linear relationship between adsorption rate and initial concentration, the equation was r = 0. 07835c- 0. 805.
