Abstract

Southern Sichuan Basin is a typical old area with gas and oil fields.The oil and gas geochemical prospecting has been operated in the area northwards to the Maliuchang oil and gas field.According to the research of hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon indexes,we have obtained a good effect for the oil and gas geochemical prospecting in this area,which will offer poweful geochemical references for further oil and gas exploration in this domain.
