Abstract
Traffic flow condition in the road network is controlled by both traffic demand structure and road network structure.Studying on the integration of traffic demand structure and road network structure is the foundation of systematic transportation demand management.Given this,the coupling relationship model for traffic demand structure and road network structure based on equilibrium principle is set up and the analysis model for traffic demand structure based on balanced and coordinated traffic network and traffic demand is presented,which will offer some theoretical foundations and methods for systematic transportation demand management.
