Abstract

Thermophilic bacteria are a group of bacteria which can grow and proliferate normallyat the temperature over 55C. Current research indicates that the main reasons are as follows:1. The structure of cell envelope; 2. The heat-stability of DNA-helix; 3. The heat-resistanceof thermophilic enzymes, which is determinated by the conformation of the enzymes and theintracelluiar thermostability promoting factors.
