Abstract
Homogeneous charge compression ignition is a new combustion mode, which can improve the combustion efficiency, and reduce the emission of NOx and soot effectively. The thesis expounded the characteristic of HCCI combustion, the advantage of it, and the technical issue to be solved. The article introduces some skills in applying HCCI combustion technique to gasoline engine and diesel engine. Finally, an overview about the application precept of HCCI combustion technique was made.
