Abstract

Only piety of Confucius is set in his background of humanity, can a conclusion be made in accordance with the original meaning of Confucius. Piety is the starting point of humanity and rite, meanwhile humanity is the result of piety. piety is the source of moral affection and also goes through the whole process of its development. As a result, piety affects all the moral deeds of people.
