Abstract

It is difficult to predict surface movement deformation caused by deep mining of underground metal mines.By analysis on engineering geological characteristics and mining conditions in one mining area, the 3D model of deep mining with high simulation degree has been established, and the exploration of mining area has been simulated systematically. After the third phase of excavation, the calculated values of surface subsidence are consistent with that of GPS measured. Then the displacement angles and ground deformation range caused by deep mining in the fourth phase have been accurately predicted. It provides the basis for the positioning of underground engineering and the design of surface movement range in deep mining.
