Abstract

Since the Reform in China, Xinhua Village has exploited its various resources and developed its traditional production of handicrafts and ethnic tourism through its cooperation with Shengxing Group Company Ltd. for developing itself into a national 4 A tourism attraction and the largest wholesale market of ethnic handicrafts in southwest China. Xinhua Village has now become a well-known ethnic tourism village, which offers a practical model for developing the cultural industry in the countryside inhabited by minority nationalities.
