Abstract
Using the modern forestry theory and sustainable development strategy, discussed the importance of developing modern forestry in Heilongjiang forest industry region,based on the origin, connotation and characteristics of modern forestry, researched modern forestry development problems of Heilongjiang forest industry region, based on Twelfth Five Year Plan and four eight four three long-term development strategy of forest industry region, analysed the key development fields of modern forestry ecological system, put forward the typical significance system development strategy of modern forestry, provided theoretical basis for formulating development models and strategies of Heilongjiang forest industry region.
