Abstract

For a long time,land suitability evaluation of land use planning has been in plays a basic role.The paper reviews of the land suitability evaluation theory and methods,discusses the support of GIS,overlay analysis,multiple attribute decision making model and artificial intelligence in all kinds of land suitability evaluation methods,their advantages and disadvantages.It puts forward the problems to application of GIS land suitability evaluation.
