Abstract
The characteristics of virtual instruments are introduced, and the advantages compared with the traditional instruments are presented,so a virtual multi-functional dual-channel digital oscilloscope based on LabVIEW is designed. The data acquisition sub-system is mainly constructed by ADC and DSP,and its hardware structure is also studied and implemented. Then the software design of the virtual oscilloscope is presented in detail. The result shows that the capability of the oscilloscope is better than that of the traditional instruments in precision and reliability etc.And it has a high manipulability and maintainability.
