CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON PREVENTION FOR NAUSEA AND VOMITING WITH GRANISETRON COMBINED METOCLOPRAMIDE AFTER CANCER CHEMOTHERAPY

[Objective]To investigate the efficacy and safety of granisetron combined metoclopramide for the prevention of nausea and vomiting after cancer chemotherapy.[Methods]90 patients with cancer chemotherapy in our hospital were divided into observation group and control group.Control group was given with metoclopramide and dexamethasone.Observation group was given granisetron combined with metoclopramide.[Results]The total effective rate was 93.33% higher than the total effective rate was 68.89%,the difference was significant(P﹤0.01).Constipation occurred in observation group and control group,the incidence was 22.22% and 24.44%,the difference was not significant(P﹥0.05);the incidence of insomnia in the observation group was 11.11%,compared with that in the control group(8.89%),the difference was not significant(P﹥0.05).[Conclusion]Granisetron united metoclopramide for nausea and vomiting after chemotherapy has a significant preventive effect,less side effects,which to be recommended with further clinical application.
