Abstract
In this paper, the evolution of a heavy rain over the Mid-Tianshan Mountain of Xinjiang from 17:00 on 25 July to 08:00 on 26 July 2008 was analyzed by using the observations,T213 simulations,Fengyun-2C infrared images and Doppler radar echo. The result shows that the synoptic scale cold front cloud caused the heavy rain. The heavy rainfall center appeared in the southern of Southwest jet axis. The short-term heavy rainfall in each station was all resulted from mesoscale rain cluster of cold front rain cloud.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
