The Right of Expression as the Human Rights and Civil Rights

The committee report of 17th central committee meeting of Communist Party of China announced,for first time,the concept and commitment of ensuring the Right of of Chinese citizens. Freedom of Expression is most important basic human rights and civil rights,and it is prerequisite for citizens' political participations. Freedom of Speech is core of Freedom of Expression. It is a must-have for citizens to participate in any political activities,to supervise government operations,and to become true master of country. Freedom of Speech is also a power for advancing ideology,culture,and realm of human spirit. Freedom of Information provides a podium for people to supervise government and public figures by public information and public opinions. However,without Freedom of Press,other freedoms listed above would just be smoke and would not really exists. This paper presents philosophy and criteria of Freedom of Expression in three areas —— Freedom of Speech,Freedom of Information,and Freedom of Press.
