Abstract
【Objective】To investigate the effect of minimally percutaneous nephrolithotomy(MPCNL) clinical curative effect in treating senile proximal ureteral calculi patients.【Methods】MPCNL(n = 54)and ureteroscopic lithotripsy(URL)(n = 50)for the treatment of upper ureteral stones in elderly patients admitted at 2010 February to 2012 February were included in this study.Time of operation, hospitalization time,stone-free rate and postoperative complications were compared.【Results】The stone-free rate was increased significantly in MPCNL group, while the average hospitalization time, operation time were prolonged, and the difference was statistically significantly(P 0.05).In group MPCNL,the incidence of postoperative complications was 9.26% and in URL group it was 10% had no significant differences(P 0.05)【.Conclusions】MPCNL and URL have the advantages in the treatment of upper ureteral calculi, but the risk and difficulty of operation, should be considered and then to design a best treatment method.
