Abstract

[Objective] To explore the surgical skill in the resection of tumor on cerebellopontine angle by microsurgical technique.[Method] To summarize the surgical skill in the resection of tumor on cerebellopontine angle by microsurgical technique retrospectively.[Results] Microsurgery all entered from ossicle window through post-mastoid under pulvinar, showing hockey incisions.Total, subtotal and partial resection of tumor were undertaken in 26,5 and 1 patients respectively, with 6 cases suffered from slight facial paralysis after surgery.[Conclusion] The best operative approach selected by microsurgery can protect the nerve in the total resection of brain tumor.
