Abstract
The Zeta potentials of ultrafine nickel powders which were prepared by DC arc plasma method were measured, the influences of supersonic dispersing time and dispersant concentration on the dispersion properties of the ultrafine nickel powders were studied systematically,in which OA,12HAS,SDBS,SHMP,MMA,Span-85 were used. The results show that, with the increasing of ultrasonic dispersing time, the dispersion effect of the ultrafine nickel powders increases first and then decreases, dispersant concentration has the same impact on the dispersion properties of the powders. The recommended best processing parameters of dispersing ultrafine nickel powder are: the mass fraction of SHMP for 3% and the ultrasonic time for 25 mins.
