Abstract

Objective To evaluate the safety of intravenous infusion management to ensure the quality of intravenous infusion nursing. Methods The authors assigned tasks to 30 members of the intravenous therapy team rationally, and by using the self-made table special inspection index of intravenous infusion, carried out a special investigation of the whole process of intravenous infusion in 25 clinical departments in our hospital and made a comprehensive analysis of the results. Results By special inspection of intravenous infusion therapy,it was found that the implementation of signed doctor's advice, spare drug storage, drug profile, intravenous input and terminal handling links with potential safety problems, were greatly improved after targeted reform. Conclusion The long-term mechanism of quality control in intravenous infusion, and assessment and supercision of the risks of intravenous infusion by the intravenous infusion therapy team on a regular basis, can effectively reduce the risks of intravenous infusion,so the quality of intravenous infusion care will be improved.
