An Exploration into the Essential Characteristics of Labor from the Perspective of Epistemology

From the perspective of epistemology,the essential characteristics of labor mainly lie in the paradoxical attributes in itself and the dialectical unity.First of all,labor has the dual characteristics of according to subjective need and according to objective law;so it is the unification of subjective activities and material activities;Second,labor is of both individuality and sociality and the unification of individual labor and social labor;Third,labor is systematic and dynamic and the unification of labor system and labor process;Finally,labor is of both inheritance and creativity as well,so it is the unification of repeated labor and creative labor.The four pairs of paradoxical characteristics of labor and the dialectical unity of them show the essence of labor in different dimensions.
