Abstract
Objective To prepare the induced liver cancer model of high transfer rate in rats. Methods 100 mg /kg in DEN was intraperitoneal injected in 40,130- 150 g male Wistar rats,and water with 100 ppm NMOR was given,too. The livers and lungs of 4 rats were analyzed by HE staining at 2,4,10,12,14,20 weeks respectively. Furthermore,AFP was analyzed by immunohistochemistry method. Results The liver of model rats turned yellow from the 2e dweek. The liver scattered nodules appeared at the 10 t hweeks. Larger nodules appeared at more than 20 t hweeks,and 60% of pulmonary metastasis appeared. Conclusions The liver HE results showed that the modeling process simulated the trilogy of human liver cancer development successfully:liver fibrosis,cirrhosis of the liver- liver cancer. The model could be used in the study of human liver cancer.
