Abstract
Growth observation and yield determination were conducted at different stages of cherry tomato 'Huang Xiao Yu' for exploring the effects of different fertilizer levels. The results were as follows:under facility cultivation conditions of soil in south of China, cherry tomato grown better and yielded higher in all treatments than the control(no fertilizing).only applying inorganic nitrogen with the increasing amount from 0 to 1 200 kg/hm2,plant height and stem diameter increased correspondingly, but the yields were not significantly different between 600 and 1 200 kg/hm2.Combined application of inorganic nitrogen and bio-organic fertilizers was more beneficial to the growth and yield of cherry tomato than only applying inorganic nitrogen. The best effects on growth acceleration and yield gain were obtained under the application in proportion of nitrogen, phosphate and potassium adding with bio-organic fertilizers.
