Abstract
A total of 3187 traditional rice germplasm were studied to develop a core collection for Jiangxi traditional rice germplasm.The germplasm were classified to different team using five qualitative characters Indica/Japonica,early/middle/late season rice,waxy/non-waxy,the color of brown rice and grain shape.Each team was classfied to sub-team by eight rice plant region.Genetic diversity and clusing analysis of the team and sub-team was reseached by SSR masrkers.A core collection bank including 296 germplasm were constructed,which accounted for 9.28% of total germplasm.
