Abstract
Objective To study the chemical constituents from Callicarpa macrophylla Vahl. Methods The compounds were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel,Sephadex LH-20 and purified by recrystallization.Their structures were determined on the basis of physicochemical properties and spectroscopic evidence. Results Six compounds were isolated and identified as α-amyrin(1),ursolic acid(2),2α,3α,19α-trihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid(3),betulinic acid(4),β-sitosterol(5),daucosterol(6).Conclusions Compounds 1 and 3 are obtained from this plant for the first time.
