The treatment of recurrence of nasolacrimal duct obstruction after endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy with intranasal endoscopy

Abstract

Objective To study the surgical operation method to recurrence of nasolacrimal duct obstruction after endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy. Methods There were 21 cases(21 eyes) whose nasolacrimal duct were obstructed after endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy and they received re-operation with intranasal dacryocystorhinostomy between Augest,2005 and Augest,2007. Results Being followed up 6～12 months,19 cases were cured and 2 cases valid,the cure rate was 90.48%.Conclusions Intranasal dacryocystorhinostomy was a kind of valid choice to treat of recurrence of nasolacrimal duct obstruction after endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy.
