Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of Resveratrol( Res) on learning and memory and P-tau activity of Model Rats with Alzheimer's disease( AD).Methods 50 male SD rats were randomized into a normal sham operation control group, model group,Res high dose group, middle dose group, low dose group.AD rat models were established by bilateral hippocampus injection of Aβ.The changes in learning and memory ability of AD rats were observed by water maze test. The changes in Hippocampal Morphology of AD rats were determined by hematoxylin-eosin staining. The expressions of Ptau in the hippocampus were measured by immunohistochemical assay. Results Res could improve the learning and memory ability( P 0.01),reduce the loss of hippocampal neurons and significantly decrease the expression of P-tau in Hippocampus( P 0.01) of AD Rats. Conclusions Res can improve AD rats' learning and memory ability by decreasing the expression of P-tau in the hippocampus.
