Abstract
Groundwater numerical simulation of groundwater flow has been widely applied in research on hydrogeological problems in mining areas, and the focus is on prediction of discharge. The invertion of hydrogeological conditions in mining areas is still at the exploration stage.According to the fact that we have no clear understanding of key hydrogeological conditions in the Makeng mining area,we take groundwater in the karst-fissured aquifer as a study object and establish a 3-D numerical simulation model. The model is identified and verified with groundwater dynamics and discharge of the mining area, and several major hydrological geological problems are inverted. The boundary condition, water filling sources, pathway of groundwater and recharge of the exogenous water are further examined. This method is also regarded as an exploration to the application of numerical simulation.
