Abstract
Objective:Through observation and measurement of the mandibular canal, to understand the mandibular canal dissection structure. Method: polished layers were made on 40 sides of moist mandibles in 20 cadavers. Result: The mental foramen of some specimen were be distal to the secondary premolar. Mesial portion of the mandibular canal wall was not intact. Conclusion: Dental surgeons should pay attention to those physiological variations of the mandibular canal.
