Clinical Observation on the Treatment of Nerve Root Cervical Spondylosis with Massage on Shoulder and Neck

In this study,80 cases of patients with nerve root cervical spondylosis are randomly divided into massage therapy group and acupuncture treatment control group. The former are treated by massage on neck and shoulder point and the latter by acupuncture. The clinical therapeutic effects are observed. After two courses of treatment,the curative rate of manipulation is 32. 5%,the overall effective rate is 95%; the curative rate of acupuncture treatment group is 11%,the overall effective rate is 81%. The overall effective rate of the manipulation treatment group is superior to that of the control group. The result indicates that the treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis by massage on neck and shoulder point has a significant effect and no side effects of drug treatment,it is safe and comfortable,worthy of wider promotion.
