Abstract
Objective To evaluate the administration of early enteral nutrition support in patients with severe cerebral stroke. Methods Sixty four stroke patients with disturbance of consciousness in neurological ICU were divided into treatment group(n=34) and control group(n=30);the general conditions and basic treatment of two groups were compared(P0.05).Within 72h of onset, patients in treatment group received enteral nutritional support with individualized high-energy nutritional solution 104.6-146.4kJ/(kg·d) through nasogastric tube;while patients in control group received conventional nasal feeding. The nutritional status and clinical complications were observed and compared between two groups. Results The serum albumin,pre-albumin,lymphocyte count were higher, and the incidence of lung infection, electrolyte imbalance, upper gastrointestinal bleeding in treatment group were lower than those in control group(all P0.05).Conclusion Early enteral nutrition support in patients with severe stroke can improve the general condition, reduce complications and accelerate recovery.
