Construction and Assessment of Beijing Building World City Index System

A city′s position in the world comes from its overall strength and network position,while the consolidation and maintain of city′s status in the world also cannot leave the necessary supportive conditions,so the index system of Beijing building world city includes such three evaluation dimensions as overall strength,network position and supportive conditions.This index system 's characteristic is the unification of evaluation standard and construction way,the organic unification of world city andThree Beijing,and beyond traditional international city and urban competitiveness index system.The actual evaluation result shows that the realization degree in each indicator is uneven.The comprehensive realization degree is 66%,close to the threshold value of world city.
