Abstract

The present author holds that Marxist philosophy, the cornerstone of scientific socialism, has experienced, since its entry into China,a process of Sinicization that culminated in the formulation of the philosophical theories of MAO Ze dong, and that the Sinicization process is still under way in the new epoch where innovative thinking as is characterized by bridging between ideology and science and detaching from too much politicality constitutes a new phase of Marxist philosophy with Chinese characteristics.
