Abstract
Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of DWI in acute cerebral infarction. Methods Twenty-two patients with cerebral infarction(hyperacute infarction in 3 cases and acute infarction in 19 cases) were examined with T_1WI,T_2WI and DWI sequences. The contrast of lesions, boundary and extent on all images were compared.ADC and rADC of the lesions were calculated. Results ①The contrast of lesions, boundary and extent on DWI were superior to convertional T_1WI and T_2WI.②The value of ADC and rADC of the lesions decreased in all cases. Conclusion DWI is of the most sensitive, and it has great value in the diagnosis of acute cerebral infarction.
