Abstract
This article introduces the ecological environment quality assessment of the domestic and foreign research progress, Including the main ecological environment quality assessment methods, and evaluation indicators of the selection,etc. Through the analysis we found Index evaluation,analytic hierarchy process, ecological footprint, BP-artificial neural networks are widely used but have their limitations. And we summarize the representative assessment indicators which were put forward by some scholars in the different application aspects of the ecological environment quality assessment. The characteristics and the relationships among elements of ecological environment are important to choose inspection indicators.Finally, the main problems and the research directions were pointed out for the future study.
