Abstract

The finite elements method is used to analysis theslope stability, and the constitutive equation is gived by the traditional plastic mechanics. But the experiment have proved the traditional plastic mechanics is not quite applicable for geomaterials. The generalized plastic mechanics theory have advantage in geomaterials. So in this paper, this theory is used to analysis the slope stability, and the numerical example show the result is identical with the practice.
