The Origin of Martial Spirit in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty

Since ancient times,the Chinese nation has had the national virtue of advocating culture and warrior.Martial spirit has been highly valued by ancient Chinese peoples.It’s thriving in Eastern Zhou Dynasty again,the new and old dynasties alternating,which is related to special history and cultural elements,and psychological factor of the public.In terms of some materials concerning this field,this paper purports to point out some weaknesses of the study about the reasons why martial spirit was thriving in Eastern Zhou Dynasty.It will discuss its thriving situations,and systematically analyze the reasons from geographical environment,military war,national policy,economic elements,and have an in-depth discussion on reasons of warrior in Eastern Zhou Dynasty and cultural essence.
