Abstract
A high alite content Portland cement clinker was burnt at low temperature in laboratory and its performance was tested. The alite content of the clinker exceeded 70%, and the well-burnt temperature below 1400 ℃, the 3d and 28d compressive strength reach to 42.8MPa and 65.8MPa. The grindability of cement clinker was better than ordinary Portland cement, for example, on the same condition it took the high alite content Portland cement clinker 4.5min to grind to a specific surface area of 320m2/kg, while the ordinary Portland cement needed 8.0min. And further the petrographic study had been implemented
