Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture combined with Ganmai Dazao Decoction for depression.Methods:Sixty-five patients with depression were divided into the treatment group(n=35) and the control group(n=30).The treatment group received acupuncture combined with Ganmai Dazao Decoction,and the control group was treated with Ganmai Dazao Decoction alone.Results:The effective rate was 97.1% in the treatment group and 66.7% in the control group,the difference being significant(P 0.01).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with Ganmai Dazao Decoction has better therapeutic effect on depression than Ganmai Dazao Decoction alone.
