The Role of Bidding System in Project Quality Administration——A few Thoughts on American Experience

Abstract

Based on the American bidding system, namely the practice of bidding for design at the best quality and bidding for construction at the lowest price, and in consideration of the deficiency of the bidding system currently used in China' s construction projects in guaranteeing quality of projects, some suggestions are put forward for guaranteeing quality of projects with the improvement of bidding methods.
