Abstract

Objective To study the therapeutic effect of intravenous administration of pulse activating injection on neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy. Methods Sixty two hospitalized patients diagnosed as neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy complicated with myocardial damage were divided into two groups in random:control group and treated group. For both, clinical presentation, eletrocardiogram (ECG) and myocardial zymogram were observed,20 items of neonatal behavioral neurological assessment (NBNA) were performed on the two groups. Results Through statistical analysis these parameters proved significantly different between the two groups. Conclusion Intravenous administration of pulse activating injection may be helpful to treatment of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy complicated with myocardial damage, while a long term follow up result is pending further observation.
