Abstract
Objective To investigate the factors affecting the diagnosis of schizophrenia for clinician. Methods Medical records of patients who were diagnosed mainly to be schizophrenia when discharged were collected. Whether their psychiatric symptoms were accordant to the diagnostic criteria of schizophrenia by CCMD-3 were evaluated. Results (1) There were 107 patients (79.9%) whose hospitalization diagnosis were consistent with the diagnostic criteria of semiology of schizophrenia completely. And 27 patients (20.1%) were not. (2) There were 120 patients (89.6%) whose discharged diagnosis were consistent with the criteria. And 14 (10.4%) were not. (3)The accurate degree of discharged diagnosis were associated with level of out-patient clinician, age and career of patients. Conclusions It is necessary to improve the accurate degree of diagnosis of schizophrenia for clinician.
