Abstract

Itaconic acid is a type of unsaturatecd dioic acid.The chemical character of itaconic acid is very active because it's molecular contains two carboxyls and a dipl-bond.Therefore,itaconic acid is widely applied to chemical industry.The character,production methods of itaconic acid and the application of some derivatives of itaconic acid are introduced in this paper.
