Abstract
This paper expounded the conception of combined type pavement, and the use of asphalt concrete overlay on the old cement concrete pavement.Also,the design method and the present research about asphalt concrete overlay in and out of country were introduced.At last,this paper shows the existing problems on the present research of our country,so as to offer theoretical foundation for research of familiar problems.
