Abstract
As a kind of typical Lineal Cultural Heritage,the Grand Canal in the Sui and Tang Dynasties which had connected the north and south,been navigable for eight dynasties and benefited the whole country with its water transportation Cao Yun enjoys the reputation of the most efficient and influential route of interactive communication of economic and cultural resources between the north and the south.For its conservation,we must,first of all,lauch the resource surveys,then implement the conservation while analyzing problems thus carry out an overall conservation.
