Study on the Relationship of Personality and Coping Style of Impoverished College Students

To explore the relationship between personality and coping style of impoverished college students,Using the Eysenck personality questionnaire,Coping style scale tested with.the Anqing Teachers College on 86 non impoverished college students and 51 poor college students.The results found that the first : The personality of poor students' s P and N scored significantly lower than the non poor students.The factors of coping style, poor students in problem solving and rationalization factor scores were significantly lower than the non poor students, In the self accusation and retreat factors were significantly higher than that of non impoverished. Second, the results of the correlation analysis of poor college students coping styles and personality characteristics shows that problem solving, help seeking and inside and outside to have significant positive correlation, A significant positive correlation between the rational and emotional stability.Third, the results of regression analysis revealed that the regression model about the coping style and personality characteristics of the equation.
